When I
mentioned there was another Philadelphia landmark on our schedule for photos, several readers mentioned the Philadelphia Art Museum* and, well, they were right!

Veil Gone Wild : Art Museum Edition |
The Art Museum is another special Philadelphia location for the Turkeys - I've been a
Young Friend member for numerous years and our first "
fancy" event together was a gala honoring the opening o
f their Cézanne exhibit.
Since you've seen a lot of our mugs so far, I've posted the top 12 couple shots at the museum (to commemorate our wedding date of May 12th). Trust me, this was a
serious exercise in restraint...and editing.

Love all the "movement" in this image |
One of the things that I loved about the Art Museum was that it gives you a number of different views, even if you stick with just the front of the building (facing the Parkway) like we did. The Azalea Garden and Water Works Gazebo will bring even more diversity to your images...in just one stop!

The columns made for one of our favorite backdrops |

Veil behaving badly |
It was at exactly this moment that I had it with the veil. The videography assistant, Madeline, and photography assistant, Joe, were kind enough to take turns holding it. Their veil babysitting kept it from A) flying away on its own and B) me and trying to send it away! Turkey Mom would have been very sad if I walked down the aisle without a veil.
With the veil gone, I was much happier and ready to take on the remaining couple shots. Like with my
previous post, I'll let the images do the rest of the talking.

Happy to be veil free! |

Despite all the photos plus the sun and heat, Mr. Turkey was still having fun |
 |
Somehow it looks like there was hardly anyone else present (which was NOT the case) |
 |
Probably won't shock you that this was our first printed photo |

The architecture is the true lead in this shot |

Taking a load off on the Rocky Steps (oh how I wished we had run them) |

Just another set of tourists |

Love in the City of Brotherly Love |
Did you do couple shots in multiple locations? What other kinds of spaces offer the opportunity for diverse images with just one spot?
*Note to Philly brides - taking photos at the Art Museum requires a permit. Chances are they will not ask to see it, but definitely not worth taking the risk. If you want the form, send me a PM and I'll direct you to the right place!
