A Clean Cut

Hi Hive!

We're officially back from our honeymoon and have lots to tell you, both about the wedding and our Hawaiian vacation. However, before we go down either of those paths, I wanted to share how I made a "clean cut" from Miss to Mrs.

It was back in December that I b*tched complained about my hair and strong dislike for growing it out for the wedding 'do.

Well, five more months of bad hair days followed me.

Anyone know how to photoshop out hair? (photo from our last "unmarried" weekend)

In fact, on the day of our rehearsal, the woman who styled my hair commented on how I really needed a haircut and there "wasn't much" she could do with it.

And then, on the day of the wedding, my hairstylist noted that she's never seen someone's hair grow as much as mine had since the trial.

The message was being sent loud and clear...I desperately needed a haircut.

And so I went to our post-wedding brunch with my hair still done...

With Mr. Turkey and MIL Turkey at brunch
and approximately 1 hour after we said good-bye to all our guests, I said another farewell!

Adios 4.5 superfluous inches!!
Now, I realize that some of you Bees out there with truly long hair might laugh at me for this, but for a girl with short-ish hair for most of her life, those extra inches were slowly driving me insane. And no one wants to start their marriage like that!

Anyone else cut (or plan to cut) their hair the day after the wedding?
