Mr. & Mrs.

For some brides, there's one theme or "thing" that they are drawn to in almost any form. Whether it's birds or burlap; wine corks or woodwork...they find themselves constantly pinning items on Pinterest or creating favorites on Etsy. If they're lucky enough, sometimes there are even mainstream retailers to feed the addiction. Not that I would know ANYTHING about this type of problem...

Orrrrrrr...I'm totally living it.

Hi, my name is Miss Turkey and I have a crush. On anything and everything that says "Mr. & Mrs." I don't know what it is - maybe the ampersand or the fact that I am REALLY excited to be a MRS. - but either way, I'm constantly browsing (and trying not to buy).

If I was living in a world without budget, our home would likely be bursting at the seams with this stuff. And I can't see Mr. Turkey wanting to rest his head on Mr. and Mrs. pillows while wearing coordinating Mr. & Mrs. robes.

However, I was able to convince him that it was OK to have a few wedding items centered around this theme (and thank you to Turkey Mom for feeding my addiction with these generous gifts from our registry).

Oh Kate, how I love you (and your packaging)

First up, a cake knife and server (reminds me...I need to write about dessert soon).

So shiny!

And next, some adorable toasting flutes.

Not sure what we'll put in these since we'll likely be nixxing the champagne
I think it was the subtlety of the Mr. & Mrs. accents that made Mr. Turkey OK with using these items for the big day (and hopefully afterwards). What he might not realize is that we've I've also registered for 2 frames in this Darling Point collection (a simple frame and a split one for invitation display). Yes, I have a problem.

It seems like, for now, this is where the Mr. & Mrs. accents will stop, although I make NO promises.

Do you have an obsession? Have you found a way to fit it into your wedding?
