I decided early on that I was totally jumping on the colored shoe bandwagon.
I just LOVE photos like this Yoko and Sean's wedding - Philip Gabriel photography |
I've shared my brand love before, but when looking for shoes, I turned into a bit of a Kate Spade stalker, (not so) secretly wishing that some cute blue shoes would A) be available and B) be on sale. I almost considered writing a letter, but decided I wasn't that desperate.
Luckily, Miss Spade delivered without my prompting. This past spring, I found the Lavish (now unavailable)...in navy! Originally out of my price range, I obsessively checked the website and when they finally went on sale in July, I put in an order as quickly as my fingers would type.
After trying them on, I KNEW I had my shoes!
Love the flower detail...it may or may not tie into my dress design ;) |
The best things about these shoes...they Oh, and the navy matches the swatch of the bridesmaid dress fabric EXACTLY |
Oh so lonely up on the right hand shelf... |
Sometimes I even forget about them, which means I have definitely snuck a peek at other shoes (shakes head in shame). I don't think I'll become a 4 shoe bride like Mink, but the possibility still exists that there may be another pair of shoes in my future...might not be strong enough to resist.
Anyone else make an early wedding purchase that they've considered "cheating" on?
*Nothing against pumps (heck - I wear them every day), but since I'll likely have a mani / pedi before the wedding, I'll want to show off my cute toes.
