Bachelorette Planning

After a particularly busy day at work, on a dreary, rainy night, I received the following note from my wonderful bridesmaids.

Lists? My bridesmaids know me too well

The rainy, dreary night was turned around when I thought about the prospect of a fun girls’ weekend on the horizon and all the amazing ideas they had brainstormed. To be honest, I feel like I had almost forgotten about this part of the wedding festivities. Exciting!

However, they had put the ball in my court, which made me a bit nervous, as I was now under pressure to pick a location for the celebration.

So, what was on the table? I’ll share with you some of the letter below:

Dearest Bride-to-Be,

The time has come to celebrate all things almost Mrs. B and plan your Bachelorette Weekend!

Please rank them in order of preference with 1 being the highest and 5 being the lowest and we will make all of your bachelorette dreams come true!  Only one ranking ground rule: you must pick based 100% on what sounds the most amazing to you – we would be happy anywhere, doing anything as long as we’re all be together celebrating almost Mrs. B!

_____ ATLANTIC CITY (with a little Philly thrown in for good measure)

Start the weekend on Phriday (see what we did there?) with a relaxing but fun evening out

Saturday morning head to the Wachovia Center for a VILLANOVA GAME

Post game we will whisk the bride to Atlantic City for some Boardwalk Empire Awesomness including sparkly tops, black jack, and Steven Starr Restaurants, oh my!

A sub option would include congregating in AC Friday and spending the whole weekend!

_____  BOSTON

Congregate at Bridesmaid M’s on Friday to commence the weekend

A daytime “Boston Bridal Adventure” followed by an evening sampling some of Boston’s finest cuisine

A classy Sunday bridal brunch where we’ll act like proper New Englanders

_____  FLORIDA

A weekend at the Compound - Jupiter Satellite Edition           

This option would include a trip to Castaways, a relaxing sandy beach watering hole where boats pull up for drinks Alan Jackson has been known to drop by and play a few hits

Relaxing days at the beach club where waiter Dustin serves treats and drinks

Between the condo on Court and the new place we have sleeping for 20 and car access!

______VIRGINIA (With a Little D.C. Thrown in For Good Measure)

Can you say WINE TOUR, anyone?

Congregate Friday in DC for drinks at a location to be revealed with fabulous views of the District

Saturday morning, take a chariot of fun to the lovely wineries in NoVA for some wine sampling

Chariot will return us to the District for an amazing DC evening
