Pretty, Pretty Paper

As a paper-obsessed bride, it's no wonder that there have been multiple Turkey posts on stationary and the like. There could have been more, but I was able to show some level of restraint.

So far, you've seen our save the dates, invitations, guest bags and welcome booklets, but I've been holding out on you.

The FULL Turkey wedding paper suite

In this post I'll wrap up the final pieces that you haven't seen before - all masterfully done by Two Paperdolls (TPD).

THE PROGRAM

In the winter, I worked to develop a wedding ceremony (non-mass) program and got approval from our priest on the details.

When we brought it to the designer, they worked their magic and transformed this:

Since I had the final template approved, there wasn't much required from a design / development perspective on these. But again, TPD did an amazing job pulling in fonts from our previous pieces - for the program, the design closely mimicked our invitations.

THE PLACE CARDS

We didn't have a clear vision for our place cards besides wanting them to "fit in". TPD presented us with a couple different options, but we ultimately chose a folded card featuring the Philadelphia skyline.

This font was on our Save the Dates and used as an accent in the welcome booklets

Because of timing, I sent TPD an Excel spreadsheet with just names. I was continuing to work through the seating chart until the week of the wedding, so it was much easier to add the table assignments later, by hand.

I did a fun, bubble font on the inside of the fold

THE THANK YOU NOTES

To keep things simple and allow for quick response to our guests, we had TPD do our thank you notes with the remainder of our paper products (no photos for us).

As I posted earlier, we were lucky enough to receive many gifts before the wedding, so our thank you note requirements post-wedding have been manageable. We are, 40-something days post-wedding, nearly complete, which keeps us well within the three month window established by Emily Post.

And although many say it is not necessary, Mr. Turkey and I also plan to write a second set of thank yous to all those guests we thanked prior to May 12. We want to extend our gratitude beyond the tangible, which leads us to continue to wrestle with whether we send thank yous to those who did not send gifts.
